Youth Pastor:

Michael Preston

Michael and his wife Amanda got married and moved to Texas from California in December 2012. Since that time Michael has served the Church of the Nazarene both in youth and worship ministry. While pursuing a career in nursing, Michael felt a call to full-time youth ministry. He received his local ministers license in April 2018 and is currently working on his district license.

Michael has a passion for youth ministry and creating faith-based relationships with students so that the love of God flows through each of them like WILDFIRE. His mission and vision for our youth is to encourage Christ-centered conversations and discussions so that each student feels empowered to share the gospel with others!

CHILDREN'S DIRECTOR:

Jessica Marr

Jessica came into the LCC family August 2016 when her After School Kids Ministry started meeting here on Tuesdays after school. LCC immediately felt at home for the ministry so when a full time position became available in January 2018, Jessica knew God was calling her to more. Jessica is a leadership junkie who has a passion for personal growth and motivating others to greater personal achievements then they thought they were capable of. In January 2019 Jessica received her local pastors licenses.

Jessica grew up in the North Texas area and attended East Texas Baptist University where she played softball and volleyball. Jessica, her husband Alan and their children, Brody and Londyn have lived in Lantana for 7 years and stay very involved in the community.

Pastor Emeritus: Paul Marshall

Rev. Paul W. Marshall pastored Lantana Community Fellowship from 1988-2003, facilitating the move in 2002 to the present facilities. He has devoted his life to full-time ministry for over 50 years—having served most of that time as pastor. After his many years of service in ministry, the LCF congregation bestowed the title of Pastor Emeritus upon Paul. The designation of "Emeritus" means to be honorably retired from assigned duties. He and his wife, Barbara, live in Carrollton.
